video output settings to display in the PS1 game's native resolution. This should definitely improve the picture and make sure your TV isn't displaying any higher than 480p when playing these games. The upscaler options should also be adjusted to normal upscale / not full.

I actually agree with nearly all of what you stated. However, that same "fickle" list of traditionals that left Ninty in the first place, could turn out to be the same "normal" people now that are generally new to gaming and may not continue with what's "hot".
You know, because people like us are going to game, game, game, game, game until it hurts..whereas the Ninty (current) gamer isn't of that mindset. Hell, I don't even think there's enough...

Nah, I hope Madden can build from what 2K has shown them at that faux studio EA Sports. For too long they've hunted in the bush unfettered and now there's another predator in the undergrowth. Maybe they'll survive...maybe not. One thing's for sure though....Once my rosters are all downloaded for NCAA 2008; my time on N4G will be precious oh so precious.

PS3 is lining up some doozies as far as I can tell, and this doesn't help dismiss that notion. I really think they can give the 360 a hell of a run this Christmas. We'll see.
